The one scene where the hero's character is elevated with suddenness but with good impact has the hero challenging the villain with another identity. Good enough, but the film need not have been reduced to low-brow moments (read the infidelity element, Ali's sloppy comedy, the villain's failure to counter the hero's mind games) till the time of climax when things really start being serious, though run-of-the-mill. While the first half keeps one engaged, the second half falls short of delivering an intense drama.Īfter leaving us in no doubt about the characters and their mission, Vaitla falls back on his forte: comedy. JP's double role is yet another good idea leveraged fairly well in the climax. Another idea is the comedy of confusion arising out of the assumed double role of Charan, using Rao Ramesh to complement the hero. Using the heroine to elevate the hero (read she rising up, literally, to say 'poleeece') is a good idea. ![]() Kona Venkat's dialogues come with a whiff of freshness, they add pep to even mundane conceptualizations. The romantic angle is limited to making Rakul smile whenever she sees the hero and having a song without much delay. Instead of keeping the star busy spouting panegyric (like those we saw in 'Racha'), he allows him to instead be belittled by his dad, play jokes with the villain, and ride on the wave of situational comedy. Srinu Vaitla, having overdone his style of storytelling, here tries his hand at presenting a formulaic story with a star not much known for sharing screen space with a Jayaprakash Reddy, a Sapthagiri, a Posani, a Prthivi Raj, a Brahmanandam. There is more to the villain's background and when it is interval bang, another villain comes from an unexpected quarter. Karthik's unintended forays into Deepak Raj's (the character is played by Arun Vijay) turf bring him into direct confrontation with him. The thread makes a reappearance in the climax, only to be punctuated with a Megastar dose. Karthik has a lovable sister (Kriti Kharbanda), a mother and a constantly chiding father (Rao Ramesh), and isn't this premise enough to have a family sub-plot woven in the story? It is done, it takes the form of father-son banter and brother-sister sentiment. Charan plays an almost full-fledged star's comedy, revealing in the process the Chiranjeevi in him in a role reversal of sort, Chiranjeevi imitates his son, visibly with pride! Megastar playing Megastar is a magical moment in the climax, amply perking up an otherwise moribund proceeding.Ĭharan plays Karthik, a stuntman working in film industry, mistaken by Riya (Rakul Preet Singh) to be a brave cop out to cleanse the system. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan pen a script that blends situational comedy with occasional action and half-hearted romance. Besides, the hero plays a con on the villain, and like in 'Dookudu', shows his intense avatar whenever the opportunity comes (however, it comes only once and it is when Bruce Lee shows his serious hero side, with a topping of a Hindi line - at the lift). Then there is that 'Dookudu' narration which means the story moves forward in even an apparently comedy scene thus, the heroine unintentionally involves her boy friend in unravelling a don-like character's empire. If the villain has a womanising side to him (like a negative character in 'Aagadu' had), the hero plays an instrumental role in exposing that side, complete with playing a Mahesh Babu, with Brahmanandam in tandem. ![]() 'Bruce Lee' has traces of 'Aagadu' and 'Dookudu' if one goes beyond scratching the surface.

IPhone (first generation), the first commercially released device running iOS (2007) On March 6, 2008, Apple held a press event, announcing the iPhone SDK. In October 2007, Apple announced that a native Software Development Kit (SDK) was under development and that they planned to put it "in developers' hands in February". Jobs' reasoning was that developers could build web applications through the Safari web browser that "would behave like native apps on the iPhone". Initially, third-party native applications were not supported. At the time of its unveiling in January, Steve Jobs claimed: "iPhone runs OS X" and runs "desktop class applications", but at the time of the iPhone's release, the operating system was renamed "iPhone OS". The operating system was unveiled with the iPhone at the Macworld Conference & Expo on January 9, 2007, and released in June of that year. Forstall was also responsible for creating a software development kit for programmers to build iPhone apps, as well as an App Store within iTunes. The decision enabled the success of the iPhone as a platform for third-party developers: using a well-known desktop operating system as its basis allowed the many third-party Mac developers to write software for the iPhone with minimal retraining. Jobs favored the former approach but pitted the Macintosh and iPod teams, led by Scott Forstall and Tony Fadell, respectively, against each other in an internal competition, with Forstall winning by creating the iPhone OS. In 2005, when Steve Jobs began planning the iPhone, he had a choice to either "shrink the Mac, which would be an epic feat of engineering, or enlarge the iPod". Unveiled in 2007 for the first-generation iPhone, iOS has since been extended to support other Apple devices such as the iPod Touch (September 2007) and the iPad (introduced: January 2010 availability: April 2010.) As of March 2018, Apple's App Store contains more than 2.1 million iOS applications, 1 million of which are native for iPads. ![]() The music and sound deserve special note, too.God of War: Betrayal is an action-adventure mobile game developed by Javaground and Sony Online Entertainment's (SOE) Los Angeles division, and published by Sony Pictures Digital. The blood spatter is copious, which is somewhat surprising for a mobile game, but also perfectly aligned with the mature nature of the console games. Even though the Kratos sprite is a little small - I do wish he was larger and showed more detail - he does know how to move. Sony boasts over 100 individual animations for Kratos, and I'm apt to believe them. God of War: Betrayal will not let down franchise fans that love Kratos' graceful, deadly blood ballets. Kratos is something of a vain fellow - he likes to look good while he's ripping the pillars of Olympus asunder. The color palette is dreary and muted, appropriate for creating the kind of wrecked landscapes that Kratos often paints red by the end of the stage anyway. Levels stretch both vertical and horizontal, giving you ample room for running and jumping antics. You'll have stages that mix open-field combat with some Prince- of Persia-esque puzzle work, such as moving crates, swinging across gaps, and crossing narrow beams. Level design in God of War: Betrayal is exceptional. Chest placement, enemy hordes, the use of specific weapons - these are not just feature stapled onto a basic platformer. ![]() But what makes this all very special is that the game was designed with all of these God of War mechanics in mind. Phoenix Feathers increase your magic resource while Gorgon Eyes extend Kratos' life bar. These out of the way chests, found by seeking out a distant lever or powering through a horde, often house Phoenix Feathers and Gorgon Eyes. ![]() Some chests are placed out in the open, but others require a bit of classic platform-puzzle work. Green orbs fill health, blue orbs replenish spent magic. Chests are also sprinkled throughout the levels, filled with red, blue, and green orbs. Upping the Blade of Artemis makes the sword more and more lethal, lowering the number of hits required against creatures like the minotaur. And the force of each upgrade is immediate. Was that a left or an up arrow? As you slash and maim, red orbs are unleashed from corpses that can power up your weapons and magical skills - just like the PS2 games. I tested the game on an LG VX8600 - good phone - and had some trouble not only getting the timing right, but also sometimes making out the actual command. Unfortunately, though these are indeed functional, they can prove frustratingly tricky as you have a brief amount of time to input the commands, but the controls on most handsets are quite small. You'll have moments when you can grab hold of a weakened enemy and then use a series of button inputs to trigger a crushing final blow. The contextual attacks also book a return engagement in God of War: Betrayal. Each one of these weapons or magic attacks have their own strengths against numerous underlings or vicious boss monsters. Kratos has access to several other choice weapons, such as Medusa's Head, Army of Hades, and the Blade of Artemis. You do not have as many combo possibilities in God of War: Betrayal as you did in God of War II, but there are still several combos such as running into an enemy as you unleash the chain swords. His default weapon, the chain swords (Athena's Blades) whip all around the screen, slicing up enemies, tossing them into the air, and leaving them on the floor in a crumpled mess. Kratos is all about action, so expect to jam on the 5 button regularly to use his brutal attacks. The action and puzzle elements are very much true to the original PS2 games - this really is an extension of the God of War universe. But it's important to note right away that God of War: Betrayal is not just a cookie-cutter platformer with Kratos pasted over some other non-descript hero. Kratos' first mobile adventure is a 2D side-scroller, not entirely unlike those we saw during the glory days of the 16-bit generation. In telling the tale of Kratos' rise before a spectacular fall at the beginning of God of War II, many will tremble at the feet of this warrior-god and many a god will be displeased. God Of War: Betrayal Juego de Javafills in the gaps between the first two God of War games, when Kratos defeated Ares to claim an Olympian throne and got something of a big head about it. ![]() For the third time I tried to do my best and untill today my Auriga was in a terrible shape. My project to re-create Auriga, I had this idea in mind but I have procrastinated for two main reasons: first of all, I was anxious about making a gamedevs map that have been just released this year as a community content from the previous game, I felt unrespectful to even thinking about it, even alongside the belief that Amplitude Studios wont bring Auriga as a Day One Mod for the long waited ModKit. I want to be honest about it, not to induce pity or something like that but because overall is a letdown speaking of my own standards from other maps and also it puts an end to my "rush for content" ( I wanted also to work on other ideas that I am willing to share here now: Sapkowski universe, Age of Wonders, Divinity Original Sin, a my version of Europe, a MTG Ravnica one, a Sword Coast one, a Golarion map and a funny ginormous Horatio head shaped map)! Gshade is custom made for FF14, and has many more options, as well as better looking shaders tailored specifically for FF14. Gshade is required for the use of Alive, as it uses special shaders to keep the UI intact, along with advanced shaders made specifically for FF14. This is not meant for screenshots, but for day to day use. Please note that all presets are aimed at having a playable user experience (Targeted at 60+fps). I used to use depth of field in the fantasy presets to hide lackluster LOD settings, but ENDWALKER's vistas and scenery is something to behold, and you won't regret turning off depth of field to experience it. If your computer can run it, I highly recommend the ULTRA Preset. It combines all the previous settings into one preset. There is DEPTH OF FIELD in this preset. There is a 20-30% performance tax.įANTASY ULTRA | This is my personal preset, and what I use daily in FF14. The same color correction, and atmosphere, and advanced shading, but with higher settings, and added SSAO effects to really spruce up FF14. ULTRA | This preset is the upgraded version of VANILLA. So for those who don't enjoy the distant world being blurred, this is not for you. There is a 5-10% performance tax.įANTASY | This preset is for those whom like the graphic effects in FF12. VANILLA | This preset is the upgraded version of PERFORMANCE, and adds in advanced shading in both characters & environment. Get rid of the green haze FF14 has naturally. PERFORMANCE | This preset is centered on color balancing the game. ![]() OVERVIEW -Īlive 4.0.1 is a Gshade preset collection fine tuned to make the world of Eorzea feel more Alive.Įach preset looks visually similar with slight differences so that anyone with any type of computer can enjoy a color balanced FF14.
